One Night in Sydney

I stay the night and measure the room. Every review will use the same tests, so you can compare hotels on numbers, not brochure photos.

• Wi-Fi download, upload and latency, at the desk and by the bed
• Power points within reach of the bed and the desk, and USB-C
• Noise measured in decibels late at night
• Darkness how much light gets in with the curtains shut
• Shower flow in litres per minute, and how long hot water takes

Every hotel will be scored out of 5, and every review will start by answering Who paid? Either I paid out of my own pocket, or the hotel gave me the stay for free or at a discount. No hotel pays for a review or sees it before it's published.
